Time of Need

Psalm 38:11

New King James Version (NKJV)

11 My loved ones and my friends stand aloof from my plague, And my relatives stand afar off.

Aloof means to be removed or distance either physically or emotionally.

In the text, David is telling us that during his time of need his relatives and friends are distanced from him.  Jesus said in Matthew 11:29, take my yoke upon you and learn if me; for I am meek and lowly in heart:and ye shall find rest unto your souls. Beloved, I wish above all things, that thou mayest prosper and be health even as thy soul prosperth. (3 John 2)

My brother and sister, God sent his son into this world to save the world, not to condemn it. God gave his only begotten son, so we can have everlasting life and not perish.(John 3:16-17)

When your family and friends distance themselves, GOD is with you!

Be Blessed!
