Proverbs 8:17 Two Truths

Proverbs 8:17

New Living Translation (NLT)

17 “I love all who love me.     Those who search will surely find me.

This proverb has two truths. 1. God loves those who love him.  God is love. If he did not love us, he would have sent his son to die on the cross for us.  2. God wants us to find him.  Those who search for me will find me.

In the book God Chasers by Tommy Tenney, it talks about chasing God, getting to know God. As we chase God, God will begin to chase us. God wants to have an intimate relationship us. God is everywhere, but he does not turn his face and favor everywhere. We need to seek God to get his attention and his favor.

Our 2 truths;

1. God love those who love him.

2. God wants us to find him.

Do want a relationship with God? Guess what, God wants a relationship with you too.

Be Blessed!
