Readiness is being prepared mentally or physically for some experience or action.

Everyday we prepare for something. It could be for our jobs, personal goal or some group project. We study and plan things out to the finest detail.  However, we tend to forget the most important thing, spending time with God.

The Bible tells us to study to show thyself approved.  We can relate this to all things, Yes?  I Peter 3:15 states ” sanctify the Lord in your hearts and be ready always to give an answer to every man who ask you a reason of  the hope that is in you”.  How can you speak to this hope if you do not know the word of the Lord? How can you become more Christ like if you do not spend time with God?  Do you want to the have the spirit of readiness to serve God?

Be Blessed!
