Proverbs 25: 21-22 King James Version (KJV)
21 If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:
22 For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee.
When words are spoken to you in mean way or to make you feel bad, treat the individual with kindness. Pray for them. In doing so, you are planting a seed of righteousness. Your kindness will strike a nerve and they will be confused . They will be trying to figure out why you keep treating them so nicely, when they are so mean. Your prayers will cause them to change. In the end the Lord will reward you and you may win a soul for the Kingdom of God.
Be Blessed
