Treasure

 

2 Corinthians 4:7 New King James Version (NKJV) ⁷ But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.

Treasure is defined as something of great worth or value; also : a person esteemed as rare or precious. Earthen vessels are humans.

God has placed talents of great worth within us to be used for His glory. It is not by mere coincidence that you have people tearing you down or speaking ill of you when you try to move forward.  They are on assignment by Satan to hold you back.  Before you see the talent within you, someone else will see it first.  That person can either help nurture you as much as they can or they can see you as a threat. Sometimes you will have a case in which the group/individual you hang with can see where you advancing and they will delay or try to stop your advancement.  God has a timing for everything and you best believe that God has not given up on that treasure He has placed in you.

Colossians 2:2-3 (NKJV) states ² that their hearts may be encouraged, being knit together in love, and attaining to all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, ³ in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

All things work together for them that love God!

²⁵ Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression,
But a good word makes it glad.

Anxiety is defined as a painful or apprehensive uneasiness of  mind over an impending or anticipated ill, fearful concern or interest.  We all experience anxiety.  It can cause one to feel sad and in some cases hopeless.  Speaking words that are positive and uplifting will change ones perspective and countenance. For me, when I have to present something to a group of people, I get a little anxious. I hope that I do not start to stutter while I am talking and that my voice does not fade out.  In the end I remind myself how far I have come to get to my present situation and the anxiety is gone.

Faithful

Luke 16:10-12

King James Version (KJV)

¹⁰ He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

¹¹ If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous Mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?

¹² And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own?

If you want to be blessed with a better position at your job or even advanced within the ministry, then why do you arrive late? Why do you take extended lunches on a daily basis? Why do you have someone else do your task and not give the individual who did the work credit?  You have not been faithful in the job that you were assigned and you expect to be promoted?

The Bible says that he who is faithful in the small things is also faithful in much. If you want to advance in any area in life you must do your best with the small things first.  Once you have gotten the small things mastered, bigger things will begin to come your way.

Who Does God Reveal Secrets To?

 

The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and understanding is given to those who follow His commands. In all thy ways acknowledge God and He shall direct thy paths.

In the days of old when Moses, David and Joshua walked the earth, there was no bible.  The scriptures were still being written.  It was the following of the commandants and praying to God that put them in the right relationship with God for Him to speak . 

God speaks to the spirit of man and depart secrets and wisdom. God can do this because Man has a spirit and a soul.  God is a spirit and He created us in image. The same God today is the same God of yesterday. He changes not! If you take the time to seek God by studying His word (Bible), pray and reverence him, He will also depart wisdom to you.  Yes, He will give instructions on how to get you out your present situation what ever that may be. That is good news.

Overwhelmed with Tasks

 

Do you ever feel overwhelmed at work ? Do ever feel like everything is being handed to you at once to be completed as soon as possible?

Know that if you were not competent and dependable, you would not be asked to do the task. You have been put in this place because of your character and the trust that you have earned with others.  So instead of thinking of the task(s) given as a burden or too much, look at it as a stepping stone to your next level of promotion.  Then thank God that He has selected you for this purpose.
