Psalm 8 (KJV)

O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. ² Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. ³ When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; ⁴ What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? ⁵ For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. ⁶ Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: ⁷ All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; ⁸ The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. ⁹ O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!

Now when you search out the word angles in this text, according to Strong Concordance 430 & 433,  you will find that in Hebrew it translates to God, deity.

We are made in the image of God and He has made us a little lower than Him. He has crowned us with glory and honor. Bless the Lord. We have power to speak things into being just like God. He has given dominion.  Let us begin to pray for our family,neighborhood and our enemies. We are the salt of the earth! Speak change! Pray for the Kingdom of God to be here on the earth!

Tell of Thanksgiving

 

Psalm 26:7;That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving and tell of all they wondrous works.

Truly I am thankful to God for peace. It is in the midst of the storm in which I acknowledge the presence of the storm and continue to believe that it will work out. It is in my trust in God, that He overwhelms me with such peace. I am relaxed within His arms.

Faith

Faith is believing in something in which there is no proof. A complete trust, belief and loyalty to God. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17).The Word of God builds our faith and is released by the words that we speak. Where is your faith today? Is your faith in God? 1 John 5:4 states “ for whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world even our faith. Our faith has the ability to over come, if we believe. Do you want to be an over comer? I do.

Love is a Command

To love is a commandment. We are to love another, our enemies and God. In loving our enemies, God said we will be rewarded. Now, if you choose to hate, you are hurting yourself. Hate is a toxin to the body. The building up of hate in the mind, body and soul, affects the body’s organs,natural processes and the breeding even more negative emotions, brings a greater risk for heart disease and stroke.

When we love, we are patient and kind. When we love we are showing God character as God is love.

Where do you seek Wisdom?

So many times in life we all seek for wisdom and knowledge.  We study the area of interest and we even practice.  How many of us actually seek wisdom and knowledge from God?  Colossians 3:2 King James Version states  ” In Whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge“. Then in verse 9 it states, “ for in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily”. 

The Lord has the wisdom and knowledge that we need to be successful in every area of our lives. Yes, we need to study and learn the craft, but God gives the insight that no man sees or understands.

Monday Thanks

 

 

 

Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for allowing me to see another Monday. Thank you for saving me and allowing Your son to die for me. Jesus knew no sin, but gave His life freely so I can have a relationship with You and have eternal life. Now, I have access to the Kingdom of God. Now that Christ is in me and I am in Christ Jesus, I have the mind, the bones, the blood and the body of Christ. So, no weapon form against shall prosper as I am covered in Christ Jesus.

I am ever so grateful Lord for all that you have done. Thank you for your love, peace and grace.

Help me Lord to make it through out this day.

MATTHEW CHAPTER 1 SUMMARY

Chapter one is the linage of the of the Lord Jesus. Mary his mother was impregnated by the Holy Spirit. Joseph her soon to be husband was going to divorce her secretly but the Angel of the came to him said do not be afraid.  Mary has conceived by the Holy Spirit,she will have a son who will save His people from sin.You will call him Jesus. This fulfills what was spoken by the prophet saying Behold a virgin will bring forth a son and they shall call his name Immanuel, God is with us.
