Help For The Oppressed
Oppression is defined as sense of being weighed down in body and mind. It is when a person fills like everything is coming at them and they do not know what to do. There is a huge weight on the mind and body. A person may even feel hopeless.
So many people feel this way at times in their life. Some are able to quickly moves pass the oppression and some are not able to. Oppression is even generational.
The Bible tells us in Psalm 9:9 ( NIV) “the Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in the times of trouble”. Also in Psalm 103:6 it states ” the Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.”
When one is feeling so overwhelmed with life, there is help. There are people who God has to speak life and not death.
The Lord Jesus said in Matthew 11:28 (NIV) “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. The Lord wants you and I to cast all our cares unto to Him. He will give us rest and peace. Do not delay, give it all over to the Lord.

Faith That Moves God
Does your Faith move God?
Luke 17:11-19
King James Version (KJV)
11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.
The 10 Lepers ask Jesus to have mercy on them. Jesus gave the instructions, go show yourself to Priest. Then it happened, on the way to the see the Priest, they were healed. One, turned around and went back and worshiped at Jesus feet. The other 9 continued on their journey to the Priest. That one leper, was so thankful for what Jesus did for him. He was no longer considered dirty. Glory to God! He was now considered clean. Jesus ask about other the 9 Lepers. See this man was not a Jew, but he knew that Jesus was able to heal him. The Lord Jesus said to him, thy faith hath made thee whole!! So this one man was made whole. That means no more issues in his body. His faith stopped heaven! His faith stopped Jesus!
Do you have faith to stop heaven? Do you want the faith to stop heaven?

Who Sharpens You
Proverbs 27:17 (Message Bible) You use steel to sharpen steel, and one friend sharpens another.
Our focus text points out that one friend sharpens another. To better explain this text, is the friend(s) that you hang around whose behavior is good/bad, in due time you will begin to pick up their ways. Take care to pay attention to the things that you begin to do when you are in your friends company. If you begin to do something that is not good, you need to change whom you hang with, until you are strong enough to sharpen them, instead of them sharpening you.

Love is a Command
To love is a commandment. We are to love another, our enemies and God. In loving our enemies, God said we will be rewarded. Now, if you choose to hate, you are hurting yourself. Hate is a toxin to the body. The building up of hate in the mind, body and soul, affects the body’s organs,natural processes and the breeding even more negative emotions, brings a greater risk for heart disease and stroke.
When we love, we are patient and kind. When we love we are showing God character as God is love.

Love Needs to be Shared
Romans 12:9 King James Version Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil, cleave to that which is good.
Our focus is ” let love be without dissimulation”. Dissimulation means to hide under false appearance according to Merriam Webster Dictionary. The focus phrase now reads as “let love be without a false appearance”. “Let love be without a hidden agenda”.
We are to love unconditionally. It does not matter the hurt, pain, action etc.. Jesus, yes Christ Jesus died for all mankind. He did no wrong. Yet, He walked the earth and gave His love to all. Yup! The women who was caught in adultery, Paul who murdered Christians and Judas who betrayed Him for money. There are many other examples of Christ showing love.
Here is what needs to be noticed. The love given by Christ and that is to be given by all, is “agape” love. Agape love, is a love that wishes no harm. It wants the individual to succeed. You can not tell me that a person does not need love. Scientists have tested this and found that even plants respond to love. The plant that did not get attention died and the plant that received attention flourished. Oh, you are saying, I do not talk to my plants. Yeah right! 🙂
Giving encouragement is a form of love. Let’s encourage someone today. Share how you made it through your depression, oppression, feeling of inferiority etc.. Let them know that can make it and you love them just because. No strings attached. Look them in the eyes, smile and give them a hug.
Share your love today, this world needs it.

Share Love
The love of God is to be shared by every born again believer to everyone, not just your fellow brother and sisters in Christ. We are to love our neighbor as we love ourselves. Your neighbor can be anyone and honestly, it does not matter who they are, just love them. Everyone wants to feel love and feel expected.
Share you love today as it is not meant just for you.
