Faith That Moves God

Does your Faith move God?

Luke 17:11-19

King James Version (KJV)

11 And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.

12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:

13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,

16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.

17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.

19 And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

The 10 Lepers ask Jesus to have mercy on them.  Jesus gave the instructions, go show yourself to Priest.  Then it happened, on the way to the see the Priest, they were healed. One, turned around and went back and worshiped at Jesus feet. The other 9 continued on their journey to the Priest.  That one leper, was so thankful for what Jesus did for him.  He was no longer considered dirty. Glory to God! He was now considered clean.  Jesus ask about other the 9 Lepers.  See this man was not a Jew, but he knew that Jesus was able to heal him.  The Lord Jesus said to him, thy faith hath made thee whole!!  So this one man was made whole.  That means no more issues in his body.  His faith stopped heaven! His faith stopped Jesus!

Do you have faith to stop heaven?  Do you want the faith to stop heaven?

Be Blessed!

Thanks

Everyday with Christ Jesus is sweeter than the day before. As you go throughout the day, reflect upon the things that was accomplished this week and today. In each task completed give thanks. In each task not completed get thanks.

Thanks is defined as a good feeling that you have towards someone who has helped you or given something to you something.

If you are reading this post, that is one thing to be thankful for as you are alive.  The breath of live life is living within you. It is in Christ Jesus that we have our being.

Be Blessed!

Graduation

This is time of year when the children are excited that are moving the next grade. High School Seniors are graduating and off to new exciting adventures. College graduates and college students moving on to next level. Such an exciting time.

Everyone has seasons that they go through. With each season we should be growing in wisdom and knowledge.

Ecclesiastes 3 King James Version (KJV) Chapter 3:1-8

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

May you reflect on what you learned and share your experience to help others. This is your testimony that will help someone else.

Blessings!

Qualified

I Corinthians 9:26-27 English Standard Version
26) Therefore I run thus;not with certainty. Thus I fight:not as one who beats the air. 27) But, I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

Everyday I rise with a choice to put my best foot forward in all things or just do nothing.
What does nothing bring? Nothing positive, just nothing! At work my job performance and leading would be meaningless. If I did nothing, I would be disqualified. My role as a Mother and Wife, would have no fruit. How can a represent my husband and my children if I did nothing. Really? No cooking, no cleaning, no washing, no working, no helping with homework, no listening to the children’s problems or questions, no listening to my husband, just eating, sleeping and making a mess. Who can lead I if I do nothing? Who can I help if I did nothing?

What does putting my best food forward bring? It brings peace of mind, satisfaction, a sense of accomplishments, laughter, a happy home and enjoying work. Disciplining oneself to stay on task, completing what is required, listening and helping is a positive output. One is representing themselves as leader who is qualified, certain and capable. In all the things that ones does, do it as if you are doing it unto the Lord. Keeping God/the Lord at the forefront, keeps things into perspective. See, being a leader is being a greater server and helper. Yes, you lead, but the majority of the time you are serving others and by your service to others you are setting a Godly example.

Be Blessed!

Blessings

Proverbs 14:27, The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to turn one away from the snare of death.

When we fear the Lord and follow His ways, we are turning away from sin. The Lord protects us.  In the 28th chapter of Deuteronomy there are blessings that are ours if we continue in the way of the Lord.

Deuteronomy 28 King James Version (KJV)

28 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God. Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field. Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.The Lord shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways. The Lord shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. The Lord shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and walk in his ways. 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the Lord; and they shall be afraid of thee. 11 And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers to give thee. 12 The Lord shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. 13 And the Lord shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: 14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.

As a member of the Kingdom of God we have rights to all the blessings that God has for us.  In order to receive the blessings we must honor God and obey his word. Do you want to have the fountain of Life that God has for you?

Be Blessed!

Wisdom

Proverbs 2:10-11 (New King James Version) states “when wisdom enters your heart and knowledge is pleasant to your soul.  Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you.

Discretion is defined as the quality of showing good judgment. Preserve is defines as keeping oneself safe or to maintain.

As God gives wisdom, our quality of judgement is good and our understanding keep us safe.

Be Blessed!

Helping Those in Need

When you give to the poor or a person in need, do not let everyone know what you have done, so man will give you praise.  God said do not let your left hand know what your right hand doeth.

Your friend Jane was in need of money rent, so you paid  her rent for the month.  You should not tell that you paid her rent as  God has pressed on your heart to help Jane, so he can reward you for being obedient to him. When you are obedient to God and help one in need and not boast about it, God will reward you for your obedience.

For the individuals who seek the praise of men, they will have a reward too. The praises of men.

God’s reward will sustain thee, mans reward of praise will not.

Be Blessed!

Who Has Your Back?

Micah 4:10 King James Version (KJV) states 10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the Lord shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.

There will be times when you have to go through pain in order to receive your blessing or goal.  You may have to put in the long hours to learn how to build a table, take labs to learn the skills to be a nurse or doctor.  Whatever the case may be, at the end of all the hard word and pain, you will get your reward.

Just like a woman who goes through pain in labor to deliver the child, she has someone with her coaching her though telling her not to give up.  You too have someone rooting for you, saying do not give up. That person is the Lord Jesus!  He has placed people in your path for you so you can overcome.  You will be redeemed and you will succeed!

Be Blessed!
