Love – Christ Died

Romans 5:6-9 (New King James Version)

6 For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

God loved us so much that he had his son Jesus Christ die for us.  Christ died for all mankind!  No one was left out when he took on the sins of man. Christ was beat, whipped and pierced.  No one was left out!  If God can use Saul who was persecuting the church and change his name to Paul, what makes anyone think that God can not us them?

Be Blessed!

Access

Having access to money is more important than having money.  God has given us access to get all our financial needs met. God has an unlimited supply of resources.  The Kingdom of Heaven has no end and no lack.  Being part of the Kingdom of God not only gives us access to get our need meet, we are also part of God’s household/Kingdom.

Our children do not pay for food, shelter, clothing, we the parents do.  The child has unlimited access to the food, shelter and clothing. By being our children they are part of our household and have access to get what they need at any given time.

Be Blessed!

Psalm 104- Praise

Bless the Lord, O my soul!

O Lord my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty, 2 Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment, Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain.

3 He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters, Who makes the clouds His chariot,
Who walks on the wings of the wind, 4 Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire.

14 He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, And vegetation for the service of man, That he may bring forth food from the earth, 15 And wine that makes glad the heart of man, Oil to make his face shine, And bread which strengthens man’s heart.

24 O Lord, how manifold are Your works!  In wisdom You have made them all. The earth is full of Your possessions—

31 May the glory of the Lord endure forever; May the Lord rejoice in His works. 32 He looks on the earth, and it trembles; He touches the hills, and they smoke.

33 I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. 34 May my meditation be sweet to Him;

Bless the Lord, O my soul!
Praise the Lord!

The Language of the Body of Christ

Faith, Forgiveness and Love (FFL)  is the language of the body of Christ.

When things are not going the way we intended or we are being misused or mistreated.  It is the word of Faith the keeps us going.  Hebrews 11:1, 6 states now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.  We are speaking things into existence by our words.  Did not God use his words to create this world, the things within and us?

Forgiveness.   Then came Peter to Jesus, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say to thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. (Matthew 18:21-22).  If we do not forgive our brothers and sister, then God will not forgive us.  Jesus, said Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.(Luke 23:24)   Jesus asked forgiveness for us and God forgave us. God loved us so much that he gave his only begotten son to die on the cross so that we my be connected with him again.

Love.   Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. I Corinthians 13: 4-7.  Love heals a multitude of sins.

FFL is the language of the body of Christ.

Fact vs Truth

What may be fact, is not truth.  Sickness is your body is a fact, by Jesus you are healed is Truth. (Isaiah 53:5)  You were just laid off from your job is a fact, Jesus is Jehovah-Jirah your provider is Truth. You are feeling tired and run down is a fact, that same spirit which raise Jesus from the dead shall quicken your mortal body is Truth! (Roman 8:11)

Think Before You Speak!

Do not agree to do or give someone whatever they wish, before you hear their desire.

In Mark 6:16-25  we have the story of Herod and Herodias.  Herod put John in prison because he told him that “It was not lawful for him to have his brother’s wife”.  Herod feared John knowing that he was a holy man. Herodias disliked John because of what he said to Herod and she wanted him dead.  On Herod’s birthday Herodias daughter danced for him.  King Herod loved her performance so much  that he said “Ask me whatever you want, and I will give it to you.” The He swore to her, “Whatever you ask me, I will give you, up to half my kingdom.”

At this moment the King is not thinking clearly. He was caught up in the moment and did not think about the fact that as King what ever he said was law and it was done.

After the King makes his statement, the daughter of Herodias, runs to her mother to inquire on what should she ask.  She responds, ask for Johns head on a platter. The King is in shock, but as King his word is law. In spite of the fact that he does not want to kill John, he has given his word. He kills John.

This story is the perfect example of the reason why one should not agree to do or give someone what ever they wish before you hear their desire.

Everything that we say has a consequence, good or bad.

Be Blessed!

Lesson On Common Wealth

Matthew 20:1-16 New King James Version (NKJV)

The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard

20 “For the kingdom of heaven is like a landowner who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. 2 Now when he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard. 3 And he went out about the third hour and saw others standing idle in the marketplace, 4 and said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.’ So they went. 5 Again he went out about the sixth and the ninth hour, and did likewise. 6 And about the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing idle,[a] and said to them, ‘Why have you been standing here idle all day?’ 7 They said to him, ‘Because no one hired us.’ He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right you will receive.’[b]

8 “So when evening had come, the owner of the vineyard said to his steward, ‘Call the laborers and give them their wages, beginning with the last to the first.’ 9 And when those came who were hired about the eleventh hour, they each received a denarius. 10 But when the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise received each a denarius. 11 And when they had received it, they complained against the landowner, 12 saying, ‘These last men have worked only one hour, and you made them equal to us who have borne the burden and the heat of the day.’ 13 But he answered one of them and said, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius? 14 Take what is yours and go your way. I wish to give to this last man the same as to you. 15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?’ 16 So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few chosen.”[c]

We had a blizzard here in the state that I live which resulted in my family helping others on our street and helping my youngest son with his snow shoveling job. It took my husband, sons and nephews on Saturday about 6 hours to shovel our way out of our house. Yes there were breaks taken as it was cold. After getting our house done, helping our neighbor and his daughter shovel out their driveway, and helping our 84 year old  neighbor,  it was time to rest up for my youngest son’s show shoveling job.

Let me set the scene. See how the cars are covered?  The neighbors’ cars were completely covered.

So the journey begins to clean the drive, walkway, steps and car. The oldest son and the youngest son are the 1st ones to start this task. Soon the youngest son leaves because his gloves are wet, and the middle son joins in shoveling the snow. Then we have all three working, but the youngest and middle leave periodically. Finally the middle son is done. He is not feeling well and hungry. The oldest is still working and Dad comes with the snow blower to help. It took about 3 hours to get this job done. It is pay time, the check is written.

It is time to distribute the money amongst the workers. We had different ideas of how to split the money. I even stated that we would pay an amount that was not evenly distributed.  It is decided to split it across the board at 25% each. What!!!??  I did the most work, why do we all get the same? I was there the whole time and I did not stop. It is not my job. I was helping to make sure he would not have been outside for hours by himself.

The workers in the vineyard all agreed to 1 mite (1 penny) to work in the vineyard. At the end of the day the owner gave them all the same amount. The ones who worked the most assumed that they would get more than everyone else.  The owner asks question, ” Did you not agree to the 1 mite?”   Take your money that you agreed to. I am free to do with my money as I wish.  In the Kingdom of God there is no lack and what you have belongs to God. If what you have belongs to God there is no jealously about who has what and how much because everyone has their needs met. As members of the Kingdom of God, we are distributing the money amongst all who worked.

The oldest son is a natural giver and God is always blessing him for being a giver. So he understood the lesson as well as his brothers.

The decision stayed at 25% to each worker.

Be Blessed!

God Is For Us

Romans 8:31-32  New King James Version (NKJV)

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

God is for us and not against us because of the blood Jesus.  When we received Jesus, we received everything we need. Now just believe it.

Be Blessed!

Sheep and Goats

Sheep symbolize meekness, gentleness, patience, submissiveness and material wealth. Goats are curious and mischievous. They symbolize selfishness and independence.

The word of the Lord says that my people hear my voice. Jesus told Peter, feed my sheep!

Matthew 25:32-46 New Living Translation (NLT)

32 All the nations[a] will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left. 34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. 36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’ 37 “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? 39 When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ 40 “And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters,[b] you were doing it to me!’ 41 “Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons.[c] 42 For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me. I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink. 43 I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick and in prison, and you didn’t visit me.’ 44 “Then they will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you?’ 45 “And he will answer, ‘I tell you the truth, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me.’ 46 “And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.”

As humans we can be either sheep or a goat.  In the text we see that sheep are the ones who take the time out to help the less fortunate. They are always giving of themselves to help someone succeed.  Goats are selfish with their time and do not help those in need. Notice that God says the sheep will have a seat on His right and goats will have eternal damnation. Are you a sheep or goat?

Be Blessed!

All Powerful

Psalm 62 New King James Version (NKJV) 11-12

11 God has spoken once,
Twice I have heard this:
That power belongs to God.
12 Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy;
For You render to each one according to his work.

There is no problem in this world that God can not solve. God is all powerful and merciful. Do not give up! Give the problem over to God.

Be Blessed!
