So, I am going about my business and God shows up! Not expecting anything, the blessing just drops.
We live in life of seed-time and harvest. In order for an apple tree to become a tree, a seed has to be planted. Then it has to go through germination. It has to go through some time of growing before you see a flower that represents an apple is growing.
Do you have any seeds in the ground?
We all will get lint on our clothes at some point in our lives. Lint is short, fine fibers that separate from the surface of cloth or yarn.
Today, man, I am really linty. I did not notice it when I left the house. So, I am ready for whatever happens with lint every where. My statement is this, I love me with lint and all. I am not prefect. I refuse to let some fabric dictate how I feel. God loves me, lint and all. So, whatever comes your way today, LOVE you. God sure does.
John 15:4-9 King James Version (KJV) 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
God is light and love. God’s light leads us down the right road to be able to fulfill our purpose in this life. God’s light gives us instruction and truth. Light is truth. As we abide in God, God abides in us, which makes us a part of him. As God is prosperous and fruitful so are we. If we not fruitful in Christ, we are not abiding in him as we ought.
2 Timothy 3:1-7 KJV This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,3 Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
As we continue in truth, we are not to be lovers of ourselves, but our love is to be shared with others. Are light and love should shine so that we draw people unto God. We are made in the image of God and we have a form of godliness, but if we deny the truth of the light, we are not in Christ. We are in darkness instead of in the light.
Let the light and love of God shine through us!

1st John 1: 5-10 King James Version (KJV) 5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
God is light and there is not darkness in Him. If we walk with God, we are walking with light. God’s light represents righteousness and truth. According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, one of the definitions of light is truth. Righteousness is defined as free from guilt or sin. The light exposes darkness, wrong doing. Darkness and light can not dwell together. Light will outshine the darkness. So, if we are living a life of deception, by day we are peaceful and loving and by night total chaos causing all kinds of troubling, fussing and cussing. The light will show us what we are doing wrong and give instructions to make correction. That is God’s truth helping us to get back in right relation with Him. We were created in God’s image to bear His LIGHT!

In I Samuel Chapter 16, Saul has lost his King’s position in the spiritual realm and God has sent His servant the Prophet Samuel to the house of Jesse to anoint the next King. The prophet goes through all the sons of Jesse that was presented to him and the Lord said not them. Jesse did not present David as he was tending the sheep. The Lord said to Prophet Samuel look not at the appearance, but at the heart. Then he anoints David to be King. In the spiritual realm, David is King, but not yet in the natural as David has some preparing to do. (Verse 16).
Now here is the kicker, David was skillful in the harp and he loved to worship God. Saul had an evil spirit that came upon him from the Lord.
13 Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up, and went to Ramah. 14 But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord troubled him. 15 And Saul’s servants said unto him, Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee. 16 Let our lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a man, who is a cunning player on an harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well. 17 And Saul said unto his servants, Provide me now a man that can play well, and bring him to me. 18 Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the Lord is with him. 19 Wherefore Saul sent messengers unto Jesse, and said, Send me David thy son, which is with the sheep. 20 And Jesse took an ass laden with bread, and a bottle of wine, and a kid, and sent them by David his son unto Saul. 21 And David came to Saul, and stood before him: and he loved him greatly; and he became his armourbearer.
This is what I want to point out verse 21; ” And David came to Saul, and stood before him: and he loved him greatly; and he became his armourbearer. When God appoints you to something, He will put you in the place where you will be able to learn those things needed, so that you can do what HE, called you to. Do not freight, God’s has a plan. Stay focus, stay in Christ, stay in love and stay in faith. You will do what God has called you to.
Many times in life affliction comes our way. It may be a relative, friend or ourselves. Our response during that time and after that time is important. Are we going to stay upbeat in spite of the situation and try to find the positive? I am not saying it is an easy task to do, in the midst of pain, but laughter is a good medicine. It releases that tension and bad toxins from the body.
Proverbs 17:22 King James Version; A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.
Today in spite of the situation, find something to be thankful for and remember how far you came. Then laugh, yes rejoice and release all the negative thoughts from your mind.

In the book ” Who Moved My Cheese” it states ” Things change and they are never the same again. This looks like one of those times. That’s life! Life moves on. And so should we”.
People do not like change. Shucks, I do not like change especially if I am enjoying what I am doing. If there is no change, there is no advancement. How can you move forward if you remain in the same position? You can not. We must be adaptable, not so much that we lose focus on who we are or our purpose.
The question is do you want to move forward and change? Or would you rather stay in the same place complaining and watch others around you advance?

In the midst of the storm, there generally is a way of escape. The question is will you take the escape route or it is meant for you to ride the storm out? Some storms of life we put ourselves into and some storms of life are not expected. That is just called life. Things happen.
In the Book of Matthew Chapter 8:23-27 verses it tells a story how the disciples and Jesus were in ship at sea and a strong wind came and the disciples thought they were going to die.
23 And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him. 24 And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. 25 And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. 26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. 27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
Jesus spoke to storm by rebuking the winds and the sea. That same spirit of Christ is in you and I. What ever situation you are in today, believe God that you have the faith to ride it out. If you need a way of escape, believe God for direction and He will see you thorough.

James 1:22 King James Version 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
The hearer of the word, just goes for the promise. They do not do any preparation they just jump right in ready to receive the prize.
The doer of the word, hears the word and does the preparation needed to receive the promise. After getting themselves prepared for the promise, they receive the promise.
To earn a Medical Degree, you must follow the set program of studies and take the required courses/labs. The degree is the promise for completing course. To whom much is given, much is required.
Are you a hearer or a doer of the Word?

Proverbs 20:13 King James Version (KJV) Love not sleep, lest thou come into poverty; open thine eyes, and thou shalt be satisfied with bread.
Poverty is defined as a state of one who lacks a usual or socially acceptable amount of money or material possessions according to Merriam Webster Dictionary.
What we see here in scripture is if you want to be able to achieve a certain amount of money or possession, you can not sleep all the time. One needs to work. Money is a means for getting things needed for survival. Now to get the amount of money you want, one must educate themselves. Education, getting knowledge and understanding is a key.
Proverbs 4:5-9 (KJV) Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. 6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. 7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. 8 Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. 9 She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.
Let us all strive to educate ourselves to remove the lack in our lives. Let us share what we learn and help some one remove the poverty in their lives.

Do you ever feel overwhelmed at work ? Do ever feel like everything is being handed to you at once to be completed as soon as possible?
Know that if you were not competent and dependable, you would not be asked to do the task. You have been put in this place because of your character and the trust that you have earned with others. So instead of thinking of the task(s) given as a burden or too much, look at it as a stepping stone to your next level of promotion. Then thank God that He has selected you for this purpose.

Acts: 13:44-48 King James Version (KJV) 44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God. 45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming. 46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles. 47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. 48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
In our scripture text, we see Paul and Barnabas brought the good news to the Jews 1st and they did not believe. The Lord gave a way for the people who are not Jews, a chance to be saved, a chance to have remissions of sins, a chance to have power to overcome. The Jews refused and the Gentiles accepted.
John 3:16 (KJV) 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Christ died on the cross so that all men might be saved. Everyone has an option. The question is who is ready to say “yes” to Christ and begin to follow Him.

Repentance is simply changing your ways or direction that you are going. If you know that should be doing A and you do D. Stop doing D and do A. Repentance also affects ones heart. The heart is sorrowful for doing the wrong or going in the wrong direction. From repentance comes obedience. With obedience there is reward.
At Bible studies, we were to pray. I came in a little late and a sister was praying. Now I know I was supposed to pray, but I chose not to. Even though the Holy Spirit is was prompting me, I chose not to. After a discussion led by Pastor, we got a do over. Thank God for the do over. When it came time for me to pray,I repented. Yes Sir and guess what? I felt a burden lift. Thank you Lord for Your grace and mercy. Everyone was blessed!
The moral of this blog is simply to do what is required and you will get your reward faster.

There will be times when you will go through a struggle and it seems like eternity. Do not give up. Hang in there, the light is coming. That is how I feel today. I know I am going through a spiritual battle for the Glory of God, but I refuse to allow the enemy to win. You see in am victorious in Christ Jesus. No weapon formed against shall prosper. So I choose to put on the helmet of salvation, the breastplate of righteousness, my boots with the preparation of peace, the sword of the spirit and my shield of faith. Yeah, I am ready!
Are you ready?

Genesis 4: 1-8 King James Version (KJV) And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord.2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord.4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering:5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell. 6 And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him. 8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.
In the text we see that Cain and Abel were bringing their offering to God. Abel brought the 1st of his flocks and Cain brought of the fruit of the ground. Both brought their offerings to God and only one was accepted. Abel gave his best to God and Cain did not. Now, God said to Cain “if thou doest well, shall thy not be accepted“? This was a do over opportunity. Even though Cain did not get it right the 1st time, he was given another chance. Cain became angry at Abel, because God did not accept his offering. Cain did not see the opportunity to present God with another offering. All he saw was rejection and he saw that Abel was accepted. Cain was jealous. The jealously of Cain was so bad, that he killed his own brother. Wow!
The opportunity was there for Cain to redo his offering and have the offering accepted by God. It would have been better if Cain would have given his best in the beginning and maybe Abel would not have been killed. Not sure how that would have changed Bible history.
As Christians, we need to give our best in our tithes and offerings to God. Let us not look at what someone else gives. Let us look at ourselves and our relationship with God. If our tithes and offering moves us, surely it will move God.

Every one goes through training. Each individual starts training as a baby through adulthood. Training can be in sports, robots building or for specific job. The purpose of training is to gain skills, knowledge and experience in a particular area.
Training is generally time-consuming and sometimes it may be painful, for the trainer and the trainee. The trainee must have a willing heart and be willing to follow instructions. The trainer leads and the trainee follows. In the end, the trainee will be able to stand. They now have a foundation.
The Bible tells of story in the Gospel of Luke, Chapter 6:45-49 verses, about a man. Let’s read.
45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh. 46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? 47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: 48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. 49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.
The story is telling us that a good heart brings good and an evil heart, evil. Also if one follows the way of the Lord, they will be like a house build on rock, which is a sure foundation. The following of the Lord is training. The training is in reading the Word of God (the Bible), praying, attending Bible Study and following the Pastor. You are being prepared for the job that the Lord has called you to do. One can not go out and teach on Spanish, if they do not know how to teach and they do not now the Spanish language. The trainee must be willing to follow and follow instructions. In the end,the foundation is sure.

James 3: 1-6 (KJV) My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation. 2 For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. 3 Behold, we put bits in the horses’ mouths, that they may obey us; and we turn about their whole body. 4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.
Have you ever sat down to watch TV and everyone in your house started talking. So you turned up the TV and you still could not hear. So, you shout and say ” I can not hear the TV”. Or you are talking to a family member who is in the dinning room and you are in the kitchen and the words you are hearing sounds muffled. So you state, ” I can not hear what you are saying”. Then you get upset because you can not hear. This scenario is happening often.
Well, I have been going through this scenario and kept saying “I can not hear what you are saying”. While watching Kenneth Copeland speaking on the tongue, the words that we speak, the Lord spoke to me and said the words you are speaking are causing you to have problems with your hearing. You see you have what you say! Without realizing it, I was speaking negatively to my body.
With our tongue we speak life and death! I choose to speak life. I will speak “I walk in divine healing and divine health. According to Isaiah 53:5 and 1st Peter 24, I am healed!
Check the words that you are speaking. I know, I am going to do a better job and watch the words that I am saying. Are you unknowingly speaking negatively to yourself?

Luke 18:35-42 King James Version
35 And it came to pass, that as he was come nigh unto Jericho, a certain blind man sat by the way side begging: 36 And hearing the multitude pass by, he asked what it meant. 37 And they told him, that Jesus of Nazareth passeth by. 38 And he cried, saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.39 And they which went before rebuked him, that he should hold his peace: but he cried so much the more, Thou son of David, have mercy on me. 40 And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him, 41 Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? And he said, Lord, that I may receive my sight. 42 And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee.
The Faith of the blind man moved Jesus in such a way, that Jesus stopped an asked “What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? It did not matter that the man was in the crowd and people told him to be quiet. No! He yelled louder, Son of David, have mercy on me!! His Faith, stopped Christ Jesus! His Faith moved Heaven! He received his sight!

In the “Essential Writings and Speeches of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr” the speech titled ” The Power of Nonviolence” written many years ago still applies today. This is what I want to point in the writing:
“The end of violence or the aftermath of violence is bitterness. The aftermath of nonviolence is reconciliation and the creation of a beloved community. A boycott is never an end within itself. It is merely a means to awaken a serve of shame within the oppressor, but the end is reconciliation, the end is redemption.”
Violence is not going to give peace, but bitterness. The anger within is still there. The anger within is from being oppressed and not heard. The anger within is also due to someone thinking that they are better than the other. This includes people in authority of every aspect, who abuse their authority. People, no one is better than the other, as each one on this earth has purpose and value. From the individual who sweeps the floor, answers the phones, assigns work and completes the work, each person is of value. Violence is not going to help this world be better. Love will make this place better. The love that is given and shown will change this world. Not only does love change, but prayers to our Lord will affect this world.
Begin to pray for your family, friends, leaders, the people within your circle for change and for them to feel the love of God. Now, you show love, as Jesus Christ said “and this is how men will know that your are His discipline, the love that you have for one another.”

Proverbs 28:22 ( ESV), A stingy man hastens after wealth and does not know that poverty will come upon him.
When the Lord Jesus walked the earth He stated that it is better to give than to receive. When you freely give, you are storing up treasures in heaven. When ever you lend to the poor/less fortunate, God said He will repay you.
As the scripture states, a stingy man does not know that poverty will come upon him, one can be blessed in one area and lacking in another. So if you are blessed with money, but you are lacking in love, what is it worth? You are being stingy with your love. The result of this stinginess is poverty in the area of love. The Lord Jesus wants us to blessed in every area of our life. 3 John 2 (ESV), Beloved I pray that all may be well with you and that you may be in good heath, as it goes well with your soul.
Dear Lord Jesus,
Teach us not be like the individual in the scripture. Teach us how to be givers. Givers of our time, money and love.
In Jesus Name.

Difficult times will touch everyone’s life at sometime or another. It may be a financial, family, or physical. It may be foreseen or not. Regardless, one must decide how they will respond. It really is important on how we respond on the onset of difficult times. Will we be hopeful or will be depressed and sadden? I encourage you to be hopeful and believe that the best is yet to come. In other words have faith. Faith is believing in something that you cannot see. Faith is the substance of things hoped for in the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1). Father Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him as righteousness.
Hebrews 6:12-15 New Life Version – 12 Do not be lazy. Be like those who have faith and have not given up. They will receive what God has promised them.
13 When God made a promise to Abraham, He made that promise in His own name because no one was greater. 14 He said, “I will make you happy in so many ways. For sure, I will give you many children.” 15 Abraham was willing to wait and God gave to him what He had promised.
Hope is defined as to cherish a desire with anticipation; to want something to happen or be true;trust; to desire with exception of obtainment or fulfillment; to expect with confidence.
You will find if you search on “how hope can help you”, written articles regarding hope and how it works. Below are three.

We are all different. We all have a different thumbprint. We all think differently and handle issues differently. That is what makes us unique. No one can be me, not even my children. They may have my ways and some of my thought processes, but they can not be me. No one can be you.
I Peter 2:9 King Jame Version But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light
Celebrate your uniqueness today. Celebrate the Christ in you, the hope of glory. As you go through out the day and someone seems strange to you, remember they may be thinking the same thing about you. Extend your hand, give a smile, show some love.

Our clothes require cleaning either by our self or someone does the laundry for us. We want our clothes to be clean when we go out or are just sitting around our home. Image going to the store wearing clothes worn 3 days ago from the gym. Oh my! Even if one has showered, the smell from the clothes will have people covering their noses or talking with wide eyes because they are trying to keep a straight face. Some may just come right out and say ” you stink”. No one likes to be told they stink.
Image trying to go before the Lord as in the days of old, without the Priest, sacrifice, burnt incense and the smoke. We would not be alive. Thank God that our Lord Jesus Christ was the final atonement for the sins of man. When Christ died on the cross, the veil was split. We no longer need to go the Priest to speak to God directly. We now go to God in the name of Jesus. Even if we come to God stinky in the name of Jesus, God see’s Christ. Christ is making the petitions on our behalf.
Hebrews 10:10 KJV 10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Christ does not look at the clothes we wear or how we smell, He looks at the heart. Is that not good news?

Proverbs 8:19-23 King James Version (KJV) 19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver. 20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment: 21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures. 22 The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. 23 I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
In our scripture text, we have some nuggets, like wisdom is better than gold and silver. Those who have wisdom inherit material things. What strikes me the most, is verses 22 and 23rd, The Lord possessed me in the beginning of His way before His works of old, I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning or ever the earth was. Wisdom was with God and God has wisdom. The Lord says if we want wisdom ask Him.
James 1:15 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. KJV
Wisdom is important for all to have in every aspect of life. It will help one stray from danger and make good choices. Who does not wisdom?
Chaos is a state of utter confusion. People are upset and things are not making sense. In the midst of this, something magnificent happening, one is becoming stronger. The strength to stand is being formed. If you do not whether the storm, how are going to find out what you are capable of doing and handling?
Let’s look at the oyster. When a grain of sand or food particle gets stuck in the mollusk of oyster, the oyster protects its self by coating the particle with nacre. As a result of this defense mechanism, a pearl is formed.
If the particle was never stuck, the pearl would not be formed. If chaos or trouble, do not happen, one would not know if they can handle the situation and one would not be stronger in that area.
The Bible tells us in the midst of trouble, we will find comfort and strength in God.
Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
When the next bout of trouble comes, think, what will I gain from this experience?

Compromise is the settlement of differences by mutual agreement. Sometimes in life, we will have to compromise. You may not get the thing done the way you wanted to, but it gets done. Now, there is somethings that one can not compromise. One thing that should not be compromised is ones soul, ones life.
In John 10:10, Jesus said “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
The Lord Jesus wants us to have a abundantly life. A life full of love, joy and peace even in the midst of trouble. Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age and shall flourish.
John 10:10 and Psalm 92:13-14

During the beginning of every year, we hear “New Year Resolution”. Resolution is the act of resolving. Resolving is to deal with successfully; to clear up. Are there issues that you want to resolve in 2017? Are there issues that you carried over from 2016 to 2017? I encourage you to write them down and come up with a plan that will allow you to resolve. Take baby steps. Once you complete one part, reward yourself as a way to keep motivated and push forward. Change is good and resolving to make a change that will benefit your life is most important.
Genesis 2:7 King James Version (KJV) And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Mind, body and soul. Remember to feed your mind good food, which are good thoughts. God created us in His image and we are part spirit. The words that we speak are seeds. Seeds grow.
Proverbs 18:21 KJV Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
Choose to speak life over yourself today. Stay positive.

2016 was year of change, challenges and growth. Was I sad to see 2016 leave? No. Was I excited to see 2017 come in? Hmmmm, kind of. I am not really sure how to answer that one. As I get older, I realize more, the importance of the day, the time, the present moment. Did I accomplish something? Am I happy or mad? Am I being lovely?
The number 17 in the Bible symbolizes “overcoming the enemy” and “complete victory.” The enemy could be procrastination, you know, not doing what needs to be done. The enemy could be problem at home, work or among friends. The enemy could be leaving money on the table. No leaving money on the table,is one that I am not going to do. For example, with corporate companies, insurance benefits now come with perks in which you earn health bucks that can be used for medical benefits. If you work out 30 minutes a day, you earn $5. Last year, I did not do a good job with this and that meant, I left money on the table. I refuse to do so this year. So, I made it a goal.
A goal is an end, a result that you have to work towards. It is something that you will benefit from. For 2017 I wrote out my goals. Now for 2016, I do not recall writing goals and if I did, I have not idea where I put them. On December 31st, I made sure all of my mail was opened and bills put to side so they can be addressed. I am probably the only one, that lets their mail pile up. Yeah Right! I refused to start the new year with a pile of mess from 2016. Do you have mess that you have allowed to come over to 2017? Stop the madness. Start 2017 fresh.
I hope 2017 is a year of over coming. May you be blessed beyond measure. May you reach higher heights and deeper deeps in Christ Jesus. May you know your purpose. May you love and love some more.

Oh that men would praise His name, would praise His name to the ends of the earth.
Jesus was whipped, thorn and crucified for us, so we may have life.
Oh that men would praise His name.
He died and rose triumphantly with the keys of death.
Oh that men would praise his name.
Come unto me and I will give you rest.
Oh that men would praise His name.
I created you in my image and given you power.
Oh that men would praise His name.
Even though you forsake me, I still love you.
Oh that men would praise His name.
You are a royal priesthood, a chosen generation.
Oh that men would praise His name.
I love you says the Lord, I love you.

I love this time of year, celebrating Christmas. I love decorating the tree, cooking and watching stories about Christmas. Especially the ones that tell the story of the birth of Christ, my risen Savior.
The Christmas tree reminds of when the people from afar brought gifts to Christ Jesus when He was born. It was an act of love and a celebration of life. The Messiah that would save the world. We can not save the world, but we have the answer, Christ Jesus. Christ Jesus, the hope or our calling. The one who gives, peace, joy, happiness in the midst of trouble and when there is no trouble.
It is during this season, that people from all over the world seem to unify and celebrate. People give freely of their heart, just as Christ gave freely of Himself.

Christmas Day will soon be here. Six days to go. During this season we should be celebrating the birth of our Lord. However, the reason for the season has changed to a promotion for Santa Claus and a big money-maker for the retail stores to turn a profit in which bottom line figures turn to black from red. Where is the telling of the birth of Jesus?
One day an individual and I had a conversation about Christmas. She did not like Christmas, because she could afford to give her children the presents they wanted when they were little because she did not have the money. I could relate to not having the money to get my children all the gifts they wanted. I shared with her the reason for Christmas. Christmas is not about Santa Claus, it is about the birth of Jesus. God sent his son in human form, so we would have the right to salvation. Christmas is not about the gifts it is about Christ. Yes, I sing “Santa Claus is coming to town”, but I tell my children the gifts that they are getting are from the Lord. He has provided us with the money to purchase you the gifts that you have received. Long story short, her reply was I wish I knew that when her children was smaller.
As we get closer to our Christian Holiday “Christmas”, may we remember the reason for the season.

Faith, Forgiveness and Love (FFL) are the language of the body of Christ.
When things are not going the way we intended or we are being misused or mistreated, it is the word of Faith the keeps us going. Hebrews 11:1, 6 states now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. We are speaking things into existence by our words. Did not God use His words to create this world, the things within and us?
Then came Peter to Jesus, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? 22 Jesus saith unto him, I say to thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. (Matthew 18:21-22). If we do not forgive our brothers and sister, then God will not forgive us. Jesus, said Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.(Luke 23:24) Jesus asked forgiveness for us and God forgave us. God loved us so much that He gave his only begotten son to die on the cross so that we my be connected with Him again.
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. (I Corinthians 13: 4-7). Love heals a multitude of sins.
FFL is the language of the body of Christ.

Genesis 12:1-4 King James Version (KJV)
12 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.4 So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
Abram was 75 years old when he was called by God to receive a blessing. In order to receive the blessing that God promised he had to come from among his people.
Sometimes in life, in order to get what you need to be successful, just like Abram, you have to change your surroundings. As long as you are in that same spot, you can not see what is beyond horizon. Do not be afraid to branch out. God will be there with you. You and I are the seed of Abraham. Are you ready to branch out?

When we are disobedient to God and try to flee from Him,He will send someone or something to get your attention, just like He did with Jonah.
Jonah was told by God to go to Nineveh and cry out against it. Jonah decided that he would disobey God and flee from God’s presence. Jonah went to Joppa and boarded a boat to Tarshish. In his disobedience, he caused turmoil to come upon the ship in such a way that the sea was raging. He was thrown over board into the sea and God had a fish waiting to swallow him up to get his attention. Jonah needed deliverance and he cried out to God.
“Out of the belly of Sheol I cried, And You heard my voice. 3 For You cast me into the deep, Into the heart of the seas, And the floods surrounded me; All Your billows and Your waves passed over me. 4 Then I said, ‘I have been cast out of Your sight; Yet I will look again toward Your holy temple.’ 5 The waters surrounded me, even to my soul; The deep closed around me; Weeds were wrapped around my head. 6 I went down to the moorings of the mountains; The earth with its bars closed behind me forever; Yet You have brought up my life from the pit, O Lord, my God. 7 “When my soul fainted within me, I remembered the Lord; And my prayer went up to You, Into Your holy temple. 8 “Those who regard worthless idols Forsake their own Mercy. 9 But I will sacrifice to You With the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay what I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord.” 10 So the Lord spoke to the fish, and it vomited Jonah on to dry land.
Just as God had the fish put Jonah back on dry land, the same is true for us today. God will deliver us if we repent and cry out to Him.
Psalm 32:7 states “You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah” (NKJV)
Philippians 1:18-20 18 What then? Only that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and in this I rejoice, yes, and will rejoice. 19 For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, 20 according to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. (NKJV)
It does not matter the situation, God will deliver! The key is to ask God for help and follow His instructions!

We we created to have a relationship with God. God wants to have a relationship with us. He wants to share his love for us through his son, Jesus. The text today Matthew 11:27-30 from the Message Bible sums it up nicely.
Matthew 11:27-30 The Message (MSG)
27 Jesus resumed talking to the people, but now tenderly. “The Father has given me all these things to do and say. This is a unique Father-Son operation, coming out of Father and Son intimacies and knowledge. No one knows the Son the way the Father does, nor the Father the way the Son does. But I’m not keeping it to myself; I’m ready to go over it line by line with anyone willing to listen.
28-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”
He is asking us to come with him and take rest. Walk with him and he will show us how to live freely!
Bless God, we are free in Christ Jesus!

For it pleased the Father that in him should all fullness dwell. Colossians 1:19 KJV
The Word of the Lord tells us that we are in Christ Jesus. In Colossians 1:19 is states that it pleased the Father that in Him (Christ Jesus) should all fullness dwell. So if we are in Christ Jesus the fullness of Him dwells in us.

The month of November was a tough month for me. I was tired and I did not feel. My patience was tried. In order to get to the next step, I had to listened and have an understanding. In spite of not feeling my best, I still kept moving until my body said no, you will rest. I had to rest in God. I had to depend on God and my family. I am truly thankful for this time, as I learned even the more to depend on God. The importance of family was ingrained in my mind more. It was when I spent time in the Word of God, that my spirit man was renew and my mind was lined up with the right words regarding healing. The right words of faith. Faith in God that is able to do what He said He would do through Christ Jesus.
Despite what ever we go through in life, there should always be something that we learn from the situation and we should be thankful.

One of the greatest gift you can give someone is your time. Think about it, what did your parents, teachers, family give you as you grew up? Their time. They spent time with you to play, teach, laugh, listen, explain and encourage. On your job, someone spent time with you so you could learn your position.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 KJV
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
I can look back on my life and see how the time my parents spent with me help mold me into the individual I am today. For this I am truly thankful. So, I will pay this forward to my children and others that God has placed in life.

As we go through life we all will go through recovery in some form or fashion. In I Samuel there is story about the Amalekites and King David. While King David and his men were away, the Amalekites invaded the south of Ziklag. The Amalekites took captive the wives, daughters and sons of David and his men. King David was distressed and prayed unto the Lord. He asked the Lord should he pursue and will they recover all. God responded pursue and you will recover all. King David and his men had to go take back what was stolen and God blessed it.
Recovery is an action. Anything that is taken from you and I that we want back and that God is saying yes go get it. It is going to take some effort. The Bible tells us in Joel 2:25 that God will restore the years that the locust, the cankerworm, the caterpiller, and the palmerworm hath eaten. God is a God of Recovery.

Thanksgiving originally was celebrated for prayer of thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. Today, family and friends gather together to give thanks and spend time with each other. Now I can not speak for all, but in my house we are giving thanks to the Lord for all the things that He has done for us. We are thankful for family, friends and for God’s mercy and grace. Oh! Where would we be without the Lord, not far. Thanks be to God, that we are able to stand firm on His Word.
Psalm 134 (KJV)
134 Behold, bless ye the Lord, all ye servants of the Lord, which by night stand in the house of the Lord. 2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord. 3 The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.
Father thank you for all that you do for me, my family and friends. Your grace and mercy are immeasurable and the cost is priceless. I love you Lord.
The inner man is always at work. However the inner man is deprived at times. As humans we tend to focus on the material things 1st. Then when difficult times come, there is no Word of God within or there is very little and the storm takes control. The inner man needs to be taken care of 1st.You can speak and give out only what you have taken in.
How do we take care of the inner man? Read the Bible to understand who you are and as you read a relationship will build with God through Christ Jesus.
The Bible tells us to study to show thyself approved unto God a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the truth. ( II Timothy 2:15).
Strengthening the man by reading and studying the Bible is like the parable in Matthew 7 regarding the person who built a house on a rock . When the wind and rain came the house stood because it had a sure foundation.
Medicine is used as treatment for a cold. Sometimes a person may be allergic to the medicine prescribed by the doctor and the doctor will give another prescription. I had an allergic reaction to medicine just prescribed and my face was itchy, but I did not realize I was having a reaction until I took the second dose. My nose was swollen and my face was itchy. Oh no! Not the face!
The one thing that is so good about the Word of God is you can not have an allergic reaction to it. The Word is to help us as we walk out our journey in Christ Jesus. The Word is spirit, life and truth. Once you start, you begin to thirst for it. The Holy Spirit will draw you to Christ even the more.
There is a story of the Samartian woman at the well in John chapter 4 in which Jesus had a conversation.Let’s look at verses 4-15.
7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. 8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) 9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. 10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. 11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? 12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? 13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. 15 The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw.
Jesus told the Samartian woman that whosoever drinketh of the water that I give him shall never thirst, but the water I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. Just in the Lord speaking to her she wanted to have the water.
Ephesians 5:26 states that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.
The Samaration women she was being washed by the Word that Jesus was spreaking to her and she wanted more. Do you want to cleansed?
There is life in Christ Jesus.

There are many times in life that we struggle with how we respond with our speech or our body language regarding how others approach us. If we are in a large crowd we may lash out and yell. If we are in a secluded area, we may speak quietly. If we are in meeting at work, we just may speak our mind with no regards to anyone else.
The Bible tells us to walk in wisdom and let our speech be with grace and seasoned, that we may properly answer. (Colossians 4:5-6) How we respond is important, as we want others to be kind and patience with us. We want others to listen to what we have to say. We are to be quick to listen and slow to answer. (James 1:19) Seek first to understand and be able to discern if we should respond. Somethings our ears to listen, is all that is needed.
How will you choose to respond?

Love is in ingrained within us. Look at a child, they love unconditionally. Even if they are done wrong, they love. Look at that same child as a teenager, their views and thoughts are taught by their parents, guardians and peers. Now that love which was so freely given is guarded. They do not freely love. PEOPLE! Hate is taught. Love in ingrained within us. Let us be like a child and love. Freely love. This world needs LOVE!
Proverbs 10:12 (KJV) Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.
LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Loves covers all wrongs!

The freezing cold has come to my area and other parts of the world. Pretty snow with frost bite weather.
Does the cold weather give one the right to be cold to other? No. Just because the outside is cold, the inside, the heart ❤️ should be warm. The love of God should flowing from us.
So grab some warmers and show some love.
We have ended another year 2017 and have embarked upon a new one. Many have not made it, but those who have, To God Be The Glory!
The number 8 signifies new beginnings. So as you and I start this year, may we grab a hold of the newness. Whatever things we messed up in 2017 or did not work out. That is okay. No one is perfect. God’s grace and mercy are new every morning.
For all the things that went right, To God Be The Glory.👏
Decide this day, that work, yes I know you have to make money, will not consume you. Many have died because of the stresses of life. Learn when to say no.
Take a minute to breathe and do you. Take some time in spend in the Word of God to renew your strength.
In 2018, I am stepping into my rightful place in Christ Jesus and I look forward to the journey. The journey of a closer walk with Him. A new me, yeah! Getting to know me better! A new look on life. A new journey with my husband and family. Balance, yes the ability to be balanced in all that I do.
Happy New Year and embrace the new.
Have you ever heard the saying, “the early bird gets the worm”? This bird is the one who gets up early before all the others and watches the ground. He is not just watching, he is studying the ground to see how the soil is moving. In his studying of the ground, he knows exactly where to be to get his morning meal, the worm.
If we, humans would take the time out just like the bird does to study, we too will put ourselves in position to get thing(s) that we need. Our studying is the preparation to achieve our goal.
In Proverbs 24:27 ( KJV) it states, 27 Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house.
Preparation is the key!
