4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.
We have the power in the words that we speak to uplift or bring down. We are called to give hope to others, not hatred or gossip. Rise up my brother and sister and speak life.
21 Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.
22 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.
Oh Israel, you will not be forgotten by Me, God said. I have blotted out your transgressions and sins, like a thick cloud. Return to me for I have redeemed you.
Even in days of old God showed and gave grace and mercy. In spite of all the wrong done by Israel, He said I have not forgotten you Israel. The wrongs done have been blotted out. That is good news and that applies to His people today. Not just Israel, but to the Gentiles, those who are not Jewish by birth. Blessed the Lord!
The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, gave all mankind the right to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We are redeemed and not forgotten. I am redeemed and not forgotten.
John 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, Iamthe light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.
May your day get better as you exhale and breathe out the stresses of life and inhale the breath of Life!
21 If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink:
22 For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee.
When words are spoken to you in mean way or to make you feel bad, treat the individual with kindness. Pray for them. In doing so, you are planting a seed of righteousness. Your kindness will strike a nerve and they will be confused . They will be trying to figure out why you keep treating them so nicely, when they are so mean. Your prayers will cause them to change. In the end the Lord will reward you and you may win a soul for the Kingdom of God.
Have you ever taken the time out to look at a butterfly? They are so distinctive and have such beauty. They are beautiful. God took his time making the butterfly and the outcome is just gorgeous. One can only imagine the amount of time it took for God to create man and woman. After he created man in his image, he said, it is good.
Wow! After God formed and made us in our mothers womb, he already predestined us as good! We are made in God’s image and his work is beautiful. You are beautiful!
Speak words of life, like I am healed, I am blessed going and going out. Speak I am the head and not the tail. Speak I am somebody; I am made in the image of God.
Mark 9:23, if thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believe.
100 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. 2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. 3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. 4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. 5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
Shout to the Lord and thank him for allowing you to make it to Friday. Shout to the Lord and thank him for your life, health, family, friends and job. In spite of the words that my have been said, in spite of how you feel at this moment, know that God is Good. Know that you have made it thus far and you SHALL make it! Know that GOD is able to complete the GOOD work that He has begun in YOU.
Mark 11:23 Today’s New International Version (TNIV)
23 “Truly[a] I tell you, if you say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and do not doubt in your heart but believe that what you say will happen, it will be done for you.
In this scripture, mountain represents a problem, issue or current state. We are being instructed by the Lord to speak to the problem. Whatever the case may be speak what you want done in your life. Then believe what you have spoken. God will hasten to perform his word, but we have to speak it. Did not God form the world by speaking it into existence? If God did it and we are made in the image of God, we have the power to the do the same.
Have you ever read the book ” Who Moved My Cheese”? This is a great book regarding change and motivation. Cheese represents your church, your job, your family, your children, the anointing and much more. In the following point I am going to relate the book to being a Christian and Christian life.
The more important your cheese is, the more you want to hold on to it.
Exodus 20:1 I the Lord God am a jealous God and I shall no other god’s before me. If you put your cheese (car, job, home and pet) before God, you are making them an idle. If we make our cheese Jesus, we will have all we need and more. We should be holding on to Jesus, the sure foundation. On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand. God has promised you and I an abundance of grace and mercy. He has promised us health and prosperity. All you and I have to do is lean on and rely on Jesus. Exercise our faith. When we are holding to the past and looking at the situation, we will be all hemmed up not wanting change. We will be like Lot’s wife and turn into a pillar of salt. We are to look forward toward the high calling in Christ. Let your past go and move on in Christ Jesus.
