The Eye and Light

The eye plays an important role in our human existence.   It allows us to see the things around us, near and far. We get to see the beauty of the world, creatures and humans that live within.  The brain and the eye work hand in hand for us to see objects.  The reflection of light from the object we are looking at  goes through the optic nerve to the brain in which the brain interprets the object.

Matthew 6:22-23 King James Version (KJV) states that ²²  the light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. ²³ But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

The Bible tell us that the light of body is the eye.  This means the things that we see are registering to our brain as happy, sad, good or bad.  Being in Christ, we are called to be the light to world and we should pay attention to the objects/movies  that we watch and things that we read, so our light will continue to shine.

Abiding in Christ Jesus causes our light to shine.  In John 8:12 , Jesus said  I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Therefore, to keep our light shining we need to read the word of God ( the Bible), spend time in prayer and minimize the TV shows, movies, magazines etc. that causes our light to dim.

Believe

 

Believe what God said you are to be. Seek to see in you what God said and then grab ahold and do not let go. There is treasure in you.

Right On Time

So, I am going about my business and God shows up! Not expecting anything, the blessing just drops.

We live in life of seed-time and harvest. In order for an apple tree to become a tree, a seed has to be planted. Then it has to go through germination. It has to go through some time of growing before you see a flower that represents an apple is growing.

Do you have any seeds in the ground?

Cold

The freezing cold has come to my area and other parts of the world. Pretty snow with frost bite weather.

Does the cold weather give one the right to be cold to other? No. Just because the outside is cold, the inside, the heart ❤️ should be warm. The love of God should flowing from us.

So grab some warmers and show some love.

2018 Happy New Year

We have ended another year 2017 and have embarked upon a new one. Many have not made it, but those who have, To God Be The Glory!

The number 8 signifies new beginnings. So as you and I start this year, may we grab a hold of the newness. Whatever things we messed up in 2017 or did not work out. That is okay. No one is perfect. God’s grace and mercy are new every morning.

For all the things that went right, To God Be The Glory.👏

Decide this day, that work, yes I know you have to make money, will not consume you. Many have died because of the stresses of life. Learn when to say no.

Take a minute to breathe and do you. Take some time in spend in the Word of God to renew your strength.

In 2018, I am stepping into my rightful place in Christ Jesus and I look forward to the journey. The journey of a closer walk with Him. A new me, yeah! Getting to know me better! A new look on life. A new journey with my husband and family. Balance, yes the ability to be balanced in all that I do.
