Linty

We all will get lint on our clothes at some point in our lives. Lint is short, fine fibers that separate from the surface of cloth or yarn.

Today, man, I am really linty. I did not notice it when I left the house. So, I am ready for whatever happens with lint every where. My statement is this, I love me with lint and all. I am not prefect. I refuse to let some fabric dictate how I feel. God loves me, lint and all. So, whatever comes your way today, LOVE you. God sure does.

Blessings

Light and Love

John 15:4-9 King James Version (KJV) 4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

God is light and love. God’s light leads us down the right road to be able to fulfill our purpose in this life.  God’s light gives us instruction and truth. Light is truth. As we abide in God, God abides in us, which makes us a part of him. As God is prosperous and fruitful so are we. If we not fruitful in Christ, we are not abiding in him as we ought.

2 Timothy 3:1-7 KJV This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,3 Without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, 7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

As we continue in truth, we are not to be lovers of ourselves, but our love  is to be shared with others. Are light and love should shine so that we draw people unto God. We are made in the image of God and we have a form of godliness, but if we deny the truth of the light, we are not in Christ. We are in darkness instead of in the light.

Let the light and love of God shine through us!

Be Blessed!

Light and Truth

1st John 1: 5-10 King James Version (KJV) 5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

God is light and there is not darkness in Him.  If we walk with God, we are walking with light. God’s light represents righteousness and truth. According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, one of the definitions of light is truth.  Righteousness is defined as free from guilt or sin. The light exposes darkness, wrong doing.  Darkness and light can not dwell together. Light will outshine the darkness. So, if we are living a life of deception, by day we are peaceful and loving and by night total chaos causing all kinds of troubling, fussing and cussing.  The light will show us what we are doing wrong and give instructions to make correction.   That is God’s truth helping us to get back in right relation with Him. We were created in God’s image to bear His LIGHT!

Be Blessed!

Preparation

Image result for picture of preparation

Have you ever heard the saying, “the early bird gets the worm”?  This bird is the one who gets up early before all the others and watches the ground.  He is not just watching, he is studying the ground to see how the soil is moving. In his studying of the ground, he knows exactly where to be to get his morning meal, the worm.

If we, humans would take the time out just like the bird does to study, we too will put ourselves in position to get thing(s) that we need. Our studying is the preparation to achieve our goal.

In Proverbs 24:27 ( KJV) it states, 27 Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house.

Preparation is the key!

Be Blessed!

Go Forward

Matthew 4: 2-3 KJV

2.) And when he has fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered. 3.) And when the tempter came to him, he said if thou be the Son  of God, command that theses stones be made bread.

When we are feeling low, the enemy comes in to tempt us.  He will put thoughts in our minds that will have us thinking that we are not able to do what God has called us to do.  The enemy will even tell you that the job or career that you want, you are not capable to do it. The devil tempted the Christ Jesus and was defeated. Believe God and go forward into your destiny.

Blessings!

The Eye

The eye plays an important role in our human existence.   It allows us to see the things around us, near and far. We get to see the beauty of the world, creatures and humans that live within.  The brain and the eye work hand in hand for us to see objects.  The reflection of light from the object we are looking at  goes through the optic nerve to the brain in which the brain interprets the object.

Matthew 6:22-23 King James Version (KJV) states that 22) the light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. 23) But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

The Bible tell us that the light of body is the eye.  This means the things that we see are registering to our brain as happy, sad, good or bad.  Being in Christ, we are called to be the light to world and we should pay attention to the objects/movies  that we watch and things that we read, so our light will continue to shine.

Abiding in Christ Jesus causes our light to shine.  In John 8:12 , Jesus said  I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. Therefore, to keep our light shining we need to read the word of God ( the Bible), spend time in prayer and minimize the TV shows, movies, magazines etc. that causes our light to dim.

Be Blessed!
