II Corinthians 10:5 KJV Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

A thought is defind as th action or process of thinking. In our text we see that we are to bring our thoughts inline with God. So, if you are driving along and you start thinking about how you should tell Susie off because she did not laugh at your story, you need to stop the movie going on in your head. One must realize that everyone may not think your story is funny.

You also take a thought by saying it. You smell freshly baked cookies and you think to yourself, I will get some cookies. Then you say, I am going to get some cookies, you have just took your thought and turned it into a spoken word.

Let us grasp ahold of the thoughts that will edify and speak God’s Word.

Happy Friday God Has Benefits

Happy Friday!

We have made it to Friday. For some the week was stressful and long. For some it was a breeze. For others they thought, “I need a new job”. Whatever the case may be, in all things give thanks to God. God our creator has given us the breath of life. He has given us benefits.

Psalm 103:2 KJV
Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits.

Grab a hold of His benefits of peace, joy, hope etc…

It is yours if you want them.

Happiness

Happiness is circumstantial. Joy comes from the Lord.  Today I am so thankful for growth and just plain old life. Life brings us all through trails that makes us stronger. This day I say I thankyou Lord and smile.

Push Through God Will Show Up

 

 

While getting some exercise, walking,I began to fill pain in my leg. I kept going and began to speak words of healing and strength. By Jesus strips I am healed. Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.They shall run and not get weary, the shall walk and not faint. Thank you Lord for strength in my knees, in my legs, in my ankles and in my body.

I did not go fast, but I kept a slow steady pace.

On my return back home, the pain started again and I had to walk up a slight incline. Then the song “I Believe “started on my radio.

My spirit began to quicken. Then the song “War” started playing.

Yes, there is a war going on and I win in Christ Jesus. I made it home with some pep in my step.

When you least expect it, God shows up to help push you through till the end.

Do not give up, only believe.

Believe that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Believe that you are important, as you are created in the image of God. Believe that you are fearfully and wonderfully made.
